DuraCoat requires no baking, so it is the ultimate finish for optics and other items that are sensitive to temperature. We prep optics by hand; we do not immerse optics in harsh solvents or bead blast them. Care is taken to protect lenses and seals and to preserve important markings. We never disassemble scopes in any way. Your optic will work as well after coating as it did before - it will just look much better.
